Mykolaiv athletes will be able to take part in competitions in Turkey
Turkey has proposed to Mykolaiv to implement a program of experience exchange between athletes, so Ukrainian children will be able to live for some time in Turkish families.
During a business trip to Bursa from March 27 to March 31, 2018, Mykolaiv delegation discussed the development of sport in Mykolaiv, following the example of cultural and sports district of Nilüfer.
It should be noted that mayor Nilüfer has positively evaluated the work of "Vodolii" in Mykolaiv and said that he was considering the possibility of constructing a municipal pool for the inhabitants of Nilüfer district.
The deputy of Mykolaiv City Council Vladyslav Yentin specified that "Vodolii" in Mykolaiv is a private enterprise, but for people with special needs, ATO soldiers, children-orphans and low-income families, frequent promotions with discounts for pool visit are often held:
"There is also a springboard for jumping into the water in the pool. We have a lot of Mykolaiv sportsmen and champions, who perform jumps in the water. In addition, there is a fencing champion and a boxing school with experienced trainers".
The head of Nilüfer Mustafa Bozbey expressed his admiration for the success of Mykolaiv gymnasts and promised to consider sending Mykolaiv athletes to Bursa for training and concluding a contract for about one year.
The head of Nilüfer district said that children from Ukraine, who come to Turkey to participate in sports competitions will have the opportunity to spend some time in Turkish families, and after the competition, children will become friends for sure.
Head of the informational policy and foreign affairs office of the city mayor department of Mykolaiv City Council Mykyta Kozyrenko reminded Mustafa Bozbey that Mykolaiv football team will visit Bursa in May 2018 for competitions with Turkish footballers and promised a serious fight for victory.
Taking into account the fact that Mykolaiv sportsmen intensively develop and popularize sports, the deputy of MCC Anatolii Petrov told about his desire to implement certain sports traditions in Mykolaiv, being inspired by Bursa.
In addition, members of Nilüfer expressed their respect for the cultural traditions of the city of Mykolaiv.
During a meeting with the mayor of Nilüfer, Mustafa Bozbey, it became known that once the representatives of the city hall of Nilüfer visited Mykolaiv on Mykolaiv city day anniversary and took part in the holiday. Then the celebration program included the cutting of a large sweet cake. Mustafa Bozbey liked this idea, and since then this tradition had been introduced in Nilüfer.
"We called this holiday “HappyCity”. During celebration activities, dedicated to Nilüfer foundation, we will hold a program, which will include a cake cutting", - said Mustafa Bozbey.
In addition, Mykolaiv delegation visited the Co-workingCenter in Nilüfer and the children's gymnasium (Besevler cimnastik). Director of the institution Gökay Azak said that the staff of the gymnasium has a possibility of having meals and accommodation in the institution.
The wage is about 1,000 USD. Teachers teach about 600 children each month. As a rule, children are engaged in gymnastics after the completion of a school day and on weekend. Besides, there is a fitness center in the school building.
There was also the deputy of Nilüfer city council Atakan Corrbaci at the meeting, who said that in 2017 male and female handball teams came to Nilüfer for competitions.
By the example of the Co-workingCenter in Nilüfer, some additional services will be implemented at a similar center in the city of Mykolaiv (now there is a process of a free co-working center creation on the balance of MCC – a communal institution). For example, in the Co-workingCenter in Nilüfer there is a possibility to rent a room for a long time for public organizations and other associations, entrepreneurs, etc.
