Delegation from Mykolaiv will meet with Mayor of Nil?fer

Delegation from Mykolaiv will meet with Mayor of Nilüfer, Bursa to discuss the creation of parks and other green areas.

On Tuesday, March 27, deputies and employees of the Mykolaiv City Council came to Nilüfer, Bursa.

The purpose of the visit of the Mykolaiv delegation is to exchange experience in the sphere of budgeting, housing and communal services, territory planning and land resources usage.
The delegation will be in Nilüfer, Bursa, from March, 27 to March, 31. The meeting will be held with Mayor Mustafa Bozbey on March, 28.

As part of the delegation:
Deputies of Mykolaiv City Council of VII convocation, Yevgen Rymar, Oleksii Liepishev, Kyryl Gorburov, Anatolii Petrov, Larysa Veselovska, Vladyslav Entin, Tetiana Kucherevska;
- Mykyta Kozyrenko - Head of the informational policy and foreign affairs office of the city mayor department of Mykolaiv City Council  
- Oleksandra Efymenko - Deputy Head of the Land Relations Department of Mykolaiv City Council
- Alevtyna Dobrovolska - Chief specialist of the Department of Information and Legal Control of the Office of City Council

The business trip program is provided:
1) Budgeting system of Bursa;
2) Invest policy;
3) Budget planning and social and economic city development;
4) Sources of social infrastructure financing (ways of people’s life support in the sphere of healthcare, housing and communal services);
5) The system of distribution and development of funds for sports and education development;
6) Structure and development of housing and communal services;
7) Improvement of local exploited territories (territories of green plantations/services on the territories landscaping and keeping in good condition of green plantations);
8) Territories planning and land resources usage;
9) Regulation and other normative and legal basis concerning external architectural appearance of Bursa streets.

As the assistants of Mayor Nilüfer have already spoken, Salih Osdemir and Hasan Karadayi, Bursa is the Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa Province, divided in 17 cities.The Mayor of Bursa is the Lord Mayor and there are 17 Mayors in Bursa in addition to Lord Mayor.There is also a Governor of Bursa Province and there are 17 City Governors in addition to Provencial Governor.

Hierarchy in Local Governments in Turkey is like that:
- Minister of Internal Affairs (Elected in National Elections)
- Provencial Governor (Appointed by Central Government)
- Lord Mayor (Elected in Local Elections, only in Metropolitan Provinces)
- City Governors (Appointed by Central Government)
- City Mayors (Elected in Local Elections)
- Neighbourhood Directors (Elected in Local Elections)

Also, Turkey has prepared a meeting with the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul, Yuriy Hrynevetskyi.
Negotiations on the business trip lasted 5 months. The organizers of the trip are the city council and deputy Vladislav Entin.
Costs from the city budget of Mykolaiv for organizing and conducting business trips are not diverted.
